Bankruptcy for ‘King of Cranes’

New York City construction magnate James Lomma filed for bankruptcy after a jury awarded accident victims a $96M verdict. Two workers were killed in a 2008 crane collapse caused by faulty maintenance. Workers’ Compensation attorney Edgar Romano hopes the large verdict will persuade construction companies to make worker safety a priority.
