9/11 First Responder Law Renewed

Congress has renewed a law providing health-care benefits for 9/11 first responders. The $8 Billion program was approved as part of an omnibus spending bill. Over 33,000 first responders have developed illnesses related to 9/11. New York workers’ compensation attorney Edgar Romano warns that new medical conditions may not be immediately covered under the bill.
